Ninja Kombucha began as a dream in Richmond, Virginia—a city where culture and nature collide. As our kombucha journey grew, we realized that the call for live cultured local products was larger than just bubbly brews. So, we decided to set out on a new adventure, diving into the tangy realm of wellness with a new vinegar company called Mitchell’s Gut.
Why Mitchell’s Gut? It’s the last rapid in the James River’s upper section before you take out at Reedy Creek—a playful wave train where paddlers pause to surf, reflect, and savor one final ride before calling it a day. For us, it’s a symbol of seizing the moment, finding joy in the journey, and making every experience count.
Our first product Bertha’s Country Lane Harvest Apple Cider Vinegar. Named for Bertha Burke—a cherished friend, neighbor, and embodiment of heartfelt kindness in the museum district—this vinegar honors a legacy of friendship and resilience.
